I can pretty much take out critters in the wild with two or three Fireballs, and my Ancestral Ghost is shooting fireballs now as opposed to just bitch slapping bad guys. Does Morrowind not have this option, or am I simply not high enough a character to access options for learning new spells.I have noticed that the spells I do have are getting strong. My character is sitting around level 15.my major skills are medium armor, long blade, alchemy, destruction and conjuror.I wanted to develop a badass spellcaster who can also handle himself in a melee fight.When I am in spellcaster mode, the arsenal I have at my fingertips is Fire Bite, FireBall and Summon Ancestral Ghost.I have a ton of scrolls for other spells in the realm of either Destruction or Summoning.but these are one time use spells.How do I memorize new spells? I remember in Baldur's Gate you had the option to use a spell once, or learn the spell for permanent use. This will be even easier once I enchant an item like a ring with Summon Golden Saint because I can make the summon last shorter than the Soultrap spell from the scroll does. Standing in the lava eventually kills them so all I need to do is use a Soultrap scroll and wait. But youd have to go elsewhere to use them.I go to the Dwemer ruins near Fort Moonmoth and use the scrolls over the lava under the bridge in one of the chambers there. One way to get some decent soul gems is to steal them from the enchanter at balmora mage guild.
